  • PM inaugurated India’s first WAVES 2025 summit with the tagline: “Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries”.
  • PM laid the foundation of Vizhinjam International Deepwater Seaport in Kerala worth ₹8,867 crore.
  • Union MoS Pankaj Chaudhary led the 69th Foundation Day celebrations of the Ministry of Finance in New Delhi.
  • NITI Aayog released a report titled "Enhancing MSMEs Competitiveness in India".
  • Union MoS Prataprao Jadhav inaugurated Yoga Mahotsav in Maharashtra and launched the Yoga Sangam Portal.
  • FM Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the Corporate Bhavan in Kolkata.
  • Amit Shah unveiled a statue and renamed a road in honour of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma.
  • Kerala’s Kozhikode received WHO recognition as an Age-Friendly City.

  • India and Denmark renewed their Energy Cooperation Agreement to support net-zero emission goals.
  • USA approved a USD 131 million foreign military sale to India for Indo-Pacific Maritime Security.
  • RBI reported India’s total exports grew by 6% to reach USD 824.9 billion in FY25.
  • S&P Global Ratings cut India’s FY26 GDP growth forecast to 6.3%.

👤 Appointments

  • Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh appointed as DG & CEO of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).
  • Rakesh Verma appointed as Director General of IIDEM, and Ashish Goyal as DG of Media in the Election Commission of India.
  • Sanjay Khanna assumed additional charge as CMD of BPCL.

  • Subhasish Bose named AIFF Men’s Footballer of the Year.
